Construction Fence Banners – Durable Mesh Signage for Building Sites
On a busy site, fencing does more than mark a boundary. It carries your name, your project, and in some cases, your reputation. Construction fence banners done well hold up in rough weather and still look clean from the street. Done poorly, they flap, fade, or tear before the job is halfway through.
Signmania produces mesh banners built for that reality. They are easy to install, designed to hold tension, and reliable enough that they're not something you need to revisit mid-project.
Why Choose Signmania?
Signmania is a well-established trade printing company, and we make everything simple and straightforward. That shapes how everything runs, from pricing to production to the way repeat orders are handled.
All printing is done in-house at our Bankstown facility. No outsourcing, no third-party delays. Combined with global import sourcing through carefully-selected international supply partners, we're able to keep stock reliable, quality consistent, and pricing competitive across both small orders and high-volume runs.
Our online system handles quotes, orders, proofing, and tracking in one place, cutting out unnecessary back-and-forth and keeping jobs moving efficiently. The facility also runs on solar power, which helps keep operational costs stable without passing that burden on to customers.
Fast and reliable turnaround is central to how we operate. Standard production for construction fence banners runs 5–7 working days, with express options available when site schedules don't allow for that.
Features
Construction fence banners are built to handle what outdoor sites throw at them; not just for a few weeks, but across the full run of a project.
- Wind-permeable mesh — Air passes through instead of building pressure against the fence, reducing strain on both the banner and the fencing structure
- UV-resistant print — Colours hold up under strong sun exposure without fading quickly, keeping branding readable throughout the job
- Reinforced edges — Hemmed borders handle repeated tension without fraying or pulling away from eyelets
- Eyelets every 500mm — Spaced for even installation across standard temporary fencing panels
These aren't optional extras; they're part of how the banner is produced as standard.
Mesh Weave Options
The weave affects how the banner performs once it's up, so it's worth getting right before ordering.
9×9 weave (approx. 240 gsm): More open structure, which lets wind pass through more freely. On exposed or high-traffic sites, this reduces the load on fencing over time and tends to hold up better across longer installs.
12×12 weave (approx. 270 gsm): Tighter weave with a more solid print finish. Better suited to display-heavy projects or situations where presentation is as important as durability at events, high-visibility street-facing fencing, or premium builds.
If the site is open and exposed, 9×9 is usually the practical choice. If it's about how the branding looks up close, 12×12 tends to deliver that better.
Banner Sizes and Formats
Full rolls are available in 50m lengths at 1.6m and 1.8m heights. Pre-cut panels come in 2.4m and 4.8m widths to align with standard temporary fencing, and custom sizes go up to 1800mm high.
For longer fence lines, panels can be welded together so the design runs continuously without breaking at every join. Once installed, that continuity makes more of a difference than most people expect, particularly for street-facing sites where the whole run is visible at once.
All construction fence banners are printed in full colour using SwissQ UV flatbed technology, keeping output sharp and consistent across every panel and every run.
Applications
Construction fence banners are used wherever fencing needs to do more than just mark a perimeter.
- Site branding — Builders and subcontractors keeping their name visible throughout the project
- Project promotion — Showcasing the development to passersby along street-facing fence lines
- Privacy screening — Blocking direct sightlines into the site without cutting off airflow
- Event fencing — Temporary setups where durability and presentation both matter
- Supporting signage — Running alongside safety boards and directional signage on larger sites
Sometimes the priority is visibility. Other times, it's about controlling what people can see from outside the perimeter. Most of the time, it's both.
Printing, Finishing and Artwork
Files can be uploaded in JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, or PSD formats, or built directly using the online design tool. Proofing and approval are handled through the same system before anything goes to print.
Finishing includes hemming, eyelets, and welded joins for panels that need to run continuously across longer fence lines. If there's any uncertainty around file resolution or artwork scale, it's worth sorting that before production. Large-format prints make those issues visible in a way smaller jobs don't.
Turnaround, Pickup and Delivery
Standard production runs 5–7 working days after artwork approval. Express production is available for urgent orders, depending on the current workload.
Pickup is available from Unit 3, 15–17 Gartmore Avenue, Bankstown, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6pm. Delivery is available across Sydney and around Australia.

Full rolls are 50m long in 1.6m or 1.8m heights. Pre-cut panels come in 2.4m or 4.8m widths in 1.6m or 1.8m heights. Custom sizes run from 600mm up to 1800mm high, with larger spans welded across panels.
9×9 mesh (approx. 240gsm) is more open and better suited to construction sites where airflow and wind resistance are the priority. The 12×12 mesh (approx. 270gsm) has a tighter weave and delivers a cleaner print finish, making it the better choice for events and branding installs.
Mesh banner printing uses UV inks on waterproof, UV-resistant mesh, and is built for ongoing outdoor exposure to sun, rain, and wind.
Larger graphics are produced by welding panels together so the finished piece reads cleanly as one continuous graphic across the full span.
